The Leaders Award and BLOODHOUND SSC are teaming up to give you the fantastic opportunity to meet and interview Wing Commander Andy Green as part of the BLOODHOUND SSC Special Leaders Award for STEM!

Wing Commander Andy Green is a British Royal Air Force pilot and World Land Speed Record holder! He is also the first person ever to break the sound barrier on land! Andy reached 763.035 mph (1227.99 km/h), the first supersonic record (Mach 1.016) in 1997. Andy is now working on the BLOODHOUND SSC project and will drive the BLOODHOUND SSC car in an attempt to make a new World Record to break the 1,000 mph mark!
